  1. What a great topic to research! If students invest their time and truly pursue their educational goals, how much improvement will you see? I am very interested in watching your research progress. Hope you will keep posting as you go. My one comment is the evaluation portion of your plan. How will you be evaluating the results of each step...especially the final results?

  2. I am a little confused. Does the student set the goal, and then take a survey pertaining to his selected goals? Or does the class as a whole set the goal, and then they are surveyed regarding the goal and its achievement?

  3. Brad: You Action Research Plan sounds interesting. I would have used "learning goals" instead of "personal goals." How will this plan help your school improve academic achievement? What will you do with the results or findings of your action research plan? Will each teacher teach students how goals are set or will it just be a group of students you will be working with to help them set goals?

  4. It sounds like a good plan. Maybe it will help the students to focus on their weaknesses and bring up their grades.
